Public interface audit → coherent service system
SLO Dryer Vent Cleaning
One Clear Path.
A striking gap between strong public reputation and a fragmented current website becomes the concept: one clear path for airflow, one clear source of contact truth, and one clear route from symptom to confirmed service request.

Dated public interface audit · Open the evidenceSix observed breaks become six proposed repairs.
Maps, the homepage, a primary phone CTA, and the terms page showed four different numbers without explaining their roles. The redesign would reconcile every destination with the owner before changing one.
A prominent button’s URL contains widget script markup instead of an email or chat destination. The repair includes mobile/desktop action tests, useful failure states, and a real confirmation path.
The public terms page opens with “Residential Lightning Solutions” while its body names SLO Dryer Vent Cleaning. The relationship, if any, is not explained on that page; every legal and privacy surface needs owner-confirmed identity and an accountable reviewer.
The displayed contractor-license number is configured as a telephone link. It should be plain text or link to an official verification source only after current status is confirmed.
The FAQ says pricing is on “out” service page, the pricing page says “Biennual,” and repeated or empty headings weaken scanning. A content model and release checklist replace page-by-page drift.
Calls, anchors, email, chat, and pricing tools compete without a clear fallback. The proposed experience sets one service request as primary and retains only owner-confirmed secondary routes.

Reimagined existing-site launch
Make the website as organized as the reviews say the field work is.
The transformation begins with integrity work: reconcile identity and contact data, test every action, address the observed legal-identity and accessibility issues, and only then express a new airflow-centered brand across the service experience.
Align the site, Maps profile, directories, calls, forms, documents, and vehicle around current owner-approved truth.
People noticing a symptom, planning maintenance, or coordinating multiple units who need a clear next action.
Describe the situation and property, then receive a real confirmation through a tested owner-approved workflow.
A continuous line follows the vent path, exposes interruptions, and reconnects every customer touchpoint.
Website, print, signs, and vehicles.
Clear air. Clear next step.
Start with what you notice, understand the proposed process and current price context, then request service through one tested route with an honest confirmation.

Launch plan
- Phase 01 · Reconcile
Establish one source of public truth
Owner-approve the contact matrix, identity, services, prices, licenses, policies, booking workflow, urgent-condition guidance, review use, and change owners.
- Phase 02 · Clear
Repair every critical path before styling
Mobile-test calls, email, forms, chat, pricing, confirmation, analytics, legal pages, headings, keyboard access, and fallback behavior with a test inquiry.
- Phase 03 · Flow
Launch one system across field and screen
Release the site, Maps updates, vehicle, proof card, maintenance piece, property packet, and educational content together; monitor accuracy and breakage.
A symptom-led front door, current “what’s included” context, service explanation, evidence, and one tested request route replace competing actions.
The owner-approved name, number, address, hours, categories, service area, URL, and structured data remain reconciled across every public source.
The airflow ribbon travels around real doors, vents, seams, and safety marks; one large number and destination remain legible at road speed.
A date-stamped airflow map or magnet records the verified service path and next owner-approved reminder without creating a safety guarantee.
A before/work/after card documents property, access, observed condition, completed scope, photos, and customer handoff with appropriate consent.
A multi-unit intake and reporting packet standardizes access notes, unit status, scheduling, contacts, and records without inventing portfolio pricing.
A hypothetical transparent-tube demonstration becomes captioned educational media using authoritative, operator-approved information.
Confirmation, preparation, arrival, completion, feedback, and later reminder messages use one sender identity and a clear reply path.
Clean technical clarity without scare tactics.
Soot navy, warm cream, airflow blue, safety orange, and brushed aluminum. The ribbon, round vent geometry, real equipment, clear tubes, and consented field details replace generic fire imagery. The voice is direct: “Here is the path. Here is what we can verify. Here is the next step.”
The launch gate is operational, not cosmetic.
- Website, content model, contact matrix, local-data standard, privacy-respecting analytics, van system, proof card, reminder, property packet, and Lint Lab kit.
- Acceptance requires one owner-approved identity and contact set, correct legal pages, keyboard and mobile checks, no broken actions, and a test inquiry reaching the real workflow.
- Measure call/form reliability, request completion, booking handoff, error rate, source accuracy, and consented follow-up—never invented safety or savings outcomes.

Prototype colors: soot navy #172934, warm cream #FFF8EA, airflow blue #55A9C5, and safety orange #FF9A6B. Field contrast, reflective material, and vehicle color would be proofed.
TypographyOne clear path.
A rounded, confident display face supports human-scale messages; a neutral system sans carries forms, prices, legal content, service records, and compact vehicle information.
Graphic deviceThe airflow ribbon.
The ribbon connects symptom to vent, request to confirmation, and before to after. It can bend through round geometry but never ends at a dead action.
Voice + materialClear air. Clear next step.
Specific, reassuring, and evidence-led. Brushed metal, transparent tubing, durable service stock, removable labels, and restrained reflectivity make hidden work legible.

01 · Website One tested service path
The rebuild reconciles public truth first, then guides a visitor from symptom and property context to service fit, current price context, request, and confirmation.
- Content: owner-approved symptoms, scope, process, pricing logic, evidence, contacts, policies, and urgent-condition guidance.
- Production: accessible form, fast mobile pages, consented media, tested fallbacks, structured data, privacy, and content owners.
- Acceptance: every call, email, form, chat, price, legal, and confirmation path tested on real devices.
02 · Stationary outdoor Give lint nowhere to hide
A single educational line and airflow path work on a parked display, property event, or approved neighborhood placement.
- Content: identity, concise line, and one verified destination.
- Production: permit, placement, contrast, material, viewing distance, and removal plan.
- Constraint: no fear-based statistic, safety guarantee, or driver-facing QR code.
03 · Maintenance print Annual airflow map
A keepable diagram helps the household record the vent route, service date, questions, and owner-approved next reminder.
- Content: property-specific path only after service; otherwise a clearly illustrative guide.
- Production: writable durable stock, source code, accessible web version, and data-minimal follow-up.
- Constraint: reminders and maintenance guidance require operator approval and are not guarantees.
