# Bestagon Homes: Open Shelter brand kit

Status: editable review concepts. The logo files are faithful copies of the existing Bestagon source. The stationery, social and campaign pieces are new applications of that identity. They have not been approved for print, distribution, staff installation or publication.

## Identity and sources

The mark is a softly faceted shelter with an open passage and a separate blue door. The existing Bestagon guide describes it as stable homes with room for real life. The geometry and wordmark in this package come from the local Bestagon Homes source at Bestagon source: BRAND_GUIDE.md and its public/brand and public logo files. Logo artwork was copied, not redrawn for this package.

The site states that Bestagon Homes LLC is based in San Luis Obispo, California and manages housing across the United States. The site offers distinct paths for housing seekers, existing residents, and property owners or community partners. It does not promise a vacancy, universal eligibility, fixed rent for every property, or a response time. The rent amount in the source site is an example; any satisfaction figure is company reported and is not a marketing result of this kit.

## Palette

| Role | Color |
| --- | --- |
| Ink blue / primary text | #12243A |
| Vivid blue / action | #2457D6 |
| White | #FFFFFF |
| Cloud / background | #F4F7FC |
| Pale blue / panel | #E4ECFA |
| Midnight / dark panel | #101E30 |
| Slate / muted text | #4E6078 |
| Light blue / dark-panel accent | #9BBCFF |

Use ink on white or cloud for body copy. On midnight, use white for body copy and light blue for accents. Vivid blue is for prominent actions, never for fine detail against ink blue.

## Type and voice

Use Fraunces Semibold for expressive display and wordmark use, with optical size 48 in the source lockup. Use Manrope for body copy, labels and the tracked HOMES descriptor. The copied logo SVGs contain outlined lettering and do not require a font. HTML templates request Fraunces and Manrope but fall back to Georgia and Arial when those fonts are not installed; font binaries are not included here. Keep headings short and useful. Describe property requirements as property specific. Write about households with dignity and without defining people by their circumstances.

## Logo use

Use bestagon-logo.svg on light backgrounds, bestagon-logo-reversed.svg on dark backgrounds, bestagon-logo-mono.svg for one-ink production, and bestagon-logo-stacked.svg when a vertical space needs a lockup. Use bestagon-mark.svg for compact square placements. Keep at least one door width of clear space around a mark; use twice that for signage. The source guide recommends a minimum 24 px standalone mark and a minimum 172 px horizontal lockup on screen. Below that, use the mark only. Do not close the doorway, rotate, outline, shadow, or independently animate the pieces of the logo.

The social graphics use the existing mark as a complete file. Their large geometric fields are supporting layout elements, not alternate logos.

## Image and motion

This package uses no photography. If photography is later added, the existing neighborhood and doorway images in the Bestagon source are representative, not identified as managed properties. A rental-sign image in that source is a commissioned composite. Do not recast any of these images as documentary proof.

The proposed motion treatment is a quiet sequence of one message per scene: question, audience path, useful next step. Keep the complete logo static. Respect reduced-motion preferences on web. For a 1080 px frame, keep important text roughly 80 px from the sides and 100 px from the top and bottom; use large type and one clear focal point. This is a concept, not a rendered video.

## Campaign concept: A clear next step

Audience insight: a housing question often starts with uncertainty about whom to contact. The site already separates housing seekers, residents, and owners or community partners. The campaign extends that useful routing into a door hanger, postcard, folded mailer, social graphics and a distance-readable billboard concept. The promise is clarity about the next action, not housing availability or approval.

The door hanger uses its doorstep context to invite a question; the postcard names the three routes; the folded mailer gives each route room for its own practical instruction; the billboard asks one short question and sends viewers to the website. The website is the sole default contact destination in these concepts.

## Production and rights

All source files are editable review materials. Print dimensions, bleed, cutout, mailing panels, CMYK conversion, vendor specifications and outdoor placement require a chosen producer before production approval. The stationery includes placeholders for staff identity and commercial details. Do not send an invoice or quote until real terms are supplied and approved.

The existing logo source calls the mark an original commissioned design exploration and states that formal trademark screening has not been performed. No third-party photography or fonts are bundled. Bestagon name, site copy and logos are used here as local source material for the owner's requested showcase concept. No campaign was published, mailed, installed or measured.

## Package inventory

Logo masters and exports: bestagon-logo.svg, bestagon-logo-reversed.svg, bestagon-logo-mono.svg, bestagon-logo-stacked.svg, bestagon-mark.svg, bestagon-mark-mono.svg, bestagon-mark-reversed.svg, favicon.svg, logo-primary.png, logo-small.png, mark-256.png, apple-touch-icon.png. The PNGs are copies or practical resized exports of the existing source PNG master and icon; they were not generated from the SVG because the available rasterizer could not load its system library.
